1. Where do I send my rod or reel in for warranty and the procedure to do so?
Ship your damaged rod or reel in a disposable container, prepaid and insured, along with a check or money order for $20 (for rod claims) or $5.50 (for reel claims) to cover return shipping and handling for each claim in the U.S. If the shipping length is 9' or longer, the shipping and handling fee is $30. Send that to the address of:

2. What do I do if I have a custom built rod?
G. Loomis blanks include our limited lifetime warranty for material and workship defects of the blank itself. We will repair or replace the blank with a new section or a complete blank replacment. We will return your original broken custom rod so you may re use any components. If your blank is replaced, the logo section will be marked making the rod unusable. If a section is replaced we will leave your old rod in perfect condition and return it along with the new section.
3. Should my rod have come with a warranty card on it?
No, our rods no longer come with a warranty card. If you have any trouble with your G.Loomis product you can send it in following the instructions outlined on our warranty information page. If you have any questions please feel free to contact customer service via email or by calling 1-800-662-8818.
4. If I have someone other than G. Loomis repair my rod is my warranty void?
If there is a minor repair done to a rod made other than by G.Loomis it will not void the warranty as long as the rod is not broken as a result of that repair.
5. Do I need a return number to send back my broken rod?
No, there is no return authorization number needed to ruturn a damaged or broken rod.
6. What happens to my damaged rod once it has been replaced with a new one?
All broken rods that are not repaired and returned to the customer, are properly disposed of.
7. Does my broken Premier rod still have any kind of warranty?
No. Premier rods were offered with a two year warranty only. The last production of these rods was in 1992 and consequently, all existing models have surpassed their warranty.
8. Does your fly rod kits come with a warranty?
Yes, all of our kits rods come with a one year warranty limited warranty.
9. How long does it take for my rod to be processed as a warranty claim?
As long as we have your rod in stock the avarage warranty claim is here at the factory for four to five business days before we ship your rod back out to you.
