Description
Technology
The GLX Bass models use rolled-on stepped mandrels machined with micro-tapers to reinforce areas likely to fail. In addition to industry-leading break strength, this innovation also helps tune unique flex patterns for technique-specific actions.
All GLX BASS models come equipped with a full tangle-free Fuji K SiC guide train to improve line management and reduce overall weight. Premium cork handles complement custom CI4+ reel seats designed to amplify an angler’s connection to the blank for enhanced bite transmission and all-day comfort.
Designed and rolled entirely in our facility in Woodland, Washington, this series boasts a modern throwback aesthetic, exemplifying elegance in simplicity.

Ci4+ Reel Seat
CI4 is an original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. The use of CI4+ for the reel seat increases sensitivity and reduces weight while also delivering remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation and better rod efficiency.

TAPERTEC
The TaperTec design philosophy builds upon our heritage of rod-building innovation by leveraging mathematical modeling prior to mandrel production. Compared to an iterative rod-building approach, TaperTec allows our team to optimize rod designs and fine-tune actions before prototyping to shorten development timelines and minimize environmental impact. For anglers, TaperTec delivers lighter and more efficient tools with optimized weight and strength to boost effectiveness on the water.
